Current ION based system being replaced with in-house developed version. Development coding not required, but scripting useful for production support automation.

Fixed Income Department:
Part of Global Banking and Markets, the FI etrading team has a proven track record of delivering critical front office e-trading solution and pricing. The team covers the main aspects of an e-trading solution (ie: pricing, market data, market connectivity, order management). A successful candidate will be working with a global team, that is spread over Paris, NY, London, Hong-Kong and Singapore, to build a multi-tier, high availability system that covers a large range of products; i.e.: government and corporate bonds, repos and IRS. The role has high visibility as the candidate will interact with business stakeholders on a regular basis. This is an on-site role with flexibility to work from home.
Support:
The team works on a DevOps model and the successful candidate is expected to provide L1 and L2 support to the business, and work on BAU deliveries. The ideal candidate has a good knowledge of ION Trading platform and technologies.
Project:
Thanks to his/her technical and business knowledge, the candidate will be part of Majors Projects within the E-trading space to enhance the global trading platform to supports new functionality and next generation functionality.
The following are the responsibilities
- Provide daily support to the Rates and Credit business regionally.
- Perform morning checks
- Build automation and monitoring tools to enhance support activities.
- Implement BAU changes
- Create, update documentation and provide demos to the traders
- Coordinate and organise changes with external vendors, markets, ECNs and infrastructure teams, but also manage production incidents with these 3rd parties
- Minimum 5 years on an IT Support or business facing role in a major financial institution.
- Good business knowledge on Rates and Credit products and the markets they are traded on, with experience of the full product/trade life cycle
- Solid Unix experience including shell scripting
- Knowledge and experience on using source controls systems, build tools and auto deployment (git, maven, gradle, Jenkins…)
- Strong troubleshooting skills in a complex trading environment
- Build automation and monitoring tools to enhance support activities
- The candidate has been part of E-trading/Pricing team or Algo Team for a major Trading House
- Strong knowledge of ION Trading technologies
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to effectively interact with business stakeholders
- Experience working in DevOps model
- Experience working in a global and multi-cultural bank
- Solid experience & Understanding of trading activities and market data feeds.
- Ability to multitask several ongoing issues. This involves the ability to assess priority and make appropriate decisions quickly and effectively.
- Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills.
- Autonomous, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
