About the Role: We're seeking a seasoned HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team in our Hong Kong office, providing comprehensive HR support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. This role will partner with leadership to implement HR initiatives and ensure excellent service delivery to employees across our international operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead candidate screening and selection process, including initial application review, coordinating interview panels, and managing hiring committee feedback
- Own the full offer process with management approvals, including compensation analysis, offer letter preparation, negotiations, and closing candidates
- Manage full-cycle recruitment process including job posting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management
- Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially, providing guidance to managers and employees
- Coordinate and facilitate the annual performance review process, including managing sensitive compensation data and merit increase recommendations
- Process and maintain confidential salary information, compensation reviews, and related documentation
- Support managers in conducting effective performance reviews and developing improvement plans
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies across multiple jurisdictions
- Develop and deliver training programs to support employee development and company initiatives, including ongoing maintenance of the employee handbook
- Support organizational culture initiatives and employee engagement programs
- Assist with global HR projects and initiatives as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in financial services or insurance
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment and offer processes
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Demonstrated experience handling confidential compensation and performance data
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information with absolute discretion
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
